Avenir is a marketing and communications consultancy in San Diego. We work with twelve clients at a time across four practices and build software for nonprofits on the side.
We started Avenir because most agency engagements end at the deliverable, and most of the work that actually matters in communications and marketing happens after that. A brand identity launches; then it has to be lived. A site ships; then it has to be measured, adjusted, and maintained. A messaging framework is written; then it has to show up in the next forty pieces of content the team produces.
We’re built for the second part. We work with a small number of clients on long retainers — typically eighteen months or more — and combine strategic counsel, ongoing project work, and maintenance into one continuous relationship.
On the software side, Avenir For Good builds tools for nonprofits — a CRM with an AI-powered supporter briefing, and a gala ticketing platform that’s actually shaped like a fundraising event. Both came out of repeated frustration with the alternatives.
